While out shopping, I found some cute Springtime Kitchen accessories I want to blog about.
It only takes a few new accessories to brighten up a kitchen right in time for springtime.
Springtime Kitchen Accessories
I love things which are not only attractive but also practical. For instance, the cute nesting hedgehog mini bowls are actually measuring cups. If you look closely at the painted stoneware set, you will see the printed 1/4, 1/2, and 1 cup measurements on the rims. I’m not sure what the largest bowl. This hedgehog set is sure to bring a smile to your face the next time you reach for a measuring cup.
The red and white mushroom caps hold wooden toothpicks. The smokey colored glass cloche is a container for long matches. The matches are removed easily by the corked bottom stopper. At first look, I thought it was a wooden chop stick holder.

Note the matching red and white mushroom bookends.
There is also a book about mushrooms between the bookends.
The next photograph is perfect decor for a springtime or summer celebration. Among the green moss bunnies and carrots are clear heavy glasses, creamers and butter dishes. I love the matching green ribbons tied around the bunnies’ necks.

The next photo shows a package of realistic looking decorative bread rolls made out of a sponge material.
The faux rolls are packaged three to a bag. These rolls will never get stale and look really good.
As a faux food person at the nearby historic farmhouse, I’m always checking out what looks real but, in fact, is only decorative in nature.

The decorative red cheese wedges and rolls look nicely plated on a faux cabbage leaf. No need to refrigerate and it looks perfect for as long as you like.

Jars of Honey
This table is full of springtime kitchenware and jars of real honey. The foot cake stands have marble tops. There is also a wooden serving tray and copper plated mixing bowls. The table is set with a vase of silk white flowers.

The display table holds two kinds of honey both clover and orange blossom.

Jars of Orange Blossom Honey are displayed on the footed cake stands.
Ending Notes
Summing up it only takes a few new items to make a kitchen seems springlike. And who doesn’t love a spoonful on honey in their hot tea or on toast.
If you spend a lot of time in your kitchen, you will love the cute and whimsical touches as noted in today’s blog.
A Big Thank You to Everyone at Merrifield Garden Center for allowing me to blog and take photographs of your store.
