Santa and Engine 421

It pretty much started out like a usual Sunday when I checked my email and noticed that Santa and Engine 421 would be visiting my local shopping center. I immediately knew I had to check this out.

Instead of bringing his usual reindeer team, the team from Engine 421 was there to assist. (Santa must have given the reindeers the day off). This is actually Fairfax County Fire & Rescue, Fair Oaks, Engine number 421.

On closer questioning, Santa said he is, also, an EMT.

Santa & Helpers

The two helpers accompanying Santa, with the red hats, hinted they could be a couple of Santa’s elves.

End of Visit

Of course, Santa is busy this time of year because he climbed aboard the top of Engine 421 at 9:02 a.m. and they took off. Apparently, they are driving down certain streets in the neighborhood, waving as they go.

Ending Comments on Santa and Engine 421 Blog

In all seriousness, here at FMB we would like to thank our brave county fire fighters, EMTs, and recue crew for all they do to help us when we need it.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to volunteer at various local events.

The Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, Inc., is also seeking donations for their end-of-the year appeal. I have my donation envelope ready to mail.

Yes, it wasn’t that long ago that this group pulled a certain person out of a car accident with a totaled vehicle.

Thanks again everyone and Happy Holidays!

Thank you to the firefighters, EMT’s, and emergency crew of Engine 421 for allowing me to take photographs and post them on today’s blog.
