I’m always excited to take a trip to one of the local ReStore shops because I know I can find things I like including some ReStore Fireplace Screens.
It’s always a surprise because you never know what great items people will donate to the shop.
ReStore Fireplace Screen
So, the first items I’m blogging about are the store’s selection of fireplace screens. Wood fireplaces are great. I have one and I love it. I purchased a fireplace insert which, I’m told, is almost like a catalytic converter. Since this is a topic, I know nothing about, I checked with AI Overview which states more accurately what I have is a catalytic combustor. This system reburns the smoke and exhaust gases to make the fire burn more efficiently, reducing emissions, and throwing more heat. Yes, this is true. During winter, my family room went from being the coldest room in the house, to the warmest.
Of course, I don’t need a fireplace screen with my unit, but I liked the selection the store offers. They have both black and brass screens.
Plastic Garden Fencing
Since I’m always being reminded to keep my trash cans out of sight, these sections of plastic fencing would hide things a bit.
However, there are only two sections, but it might be enough for your particular project.
This two plastic fencing sections could also be used indoors as part of for wedding or spring decorations with ivy and flowers tied between in the slats.
To my eye, it looks like they never been used outdoors and are very clean looking.
Four Tire Rims
I rarely seen automotive items in the ReStore but these four tire rims are currently on the sale floor. I’m not an automotive person, so I really cannot tell you that much about them. However, the sales staff is very knowledgeable and can tell you more.
Unfortunately, I did not see a price on these four tire rims.
Large Silver Vase
Wow, I found this large silver vase in the houseware department. This vase would look great with holiday flowers in it, add a bright red bow and it’s a lovely centerpiece. It is priced at a very reasonable at $8.
The ReStore shop also has a large section of holiday decorations. If you need anything for the holiday, now is the time to buy it.
This vase has a row of rhinestones encircling the top of the vase.
Rachand Juicer?
OK, I’m not totally sure about this next item but I think it is a Rachand heavy duty aluminum manual cold press citrus juicer. It looks like commercial grade.
However, the bottom part of the juicer appears to be missing. I like items that are well-made, and this is definitely sturdy looking. Online, I see some places where this juicer is listed as vintage but I’m not sure about that one. Prices for complete units seem to run from approximately $60 to $95.

I purchased this like new child’s rake. It has a shorter handle and smaller head size. I recently broke my weeding tool. Therefore, I’m going to try this one out on my flower beds.
