I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year and, by the way, today I noticed some Red Cardinal Holiday merchandise at my local garden center. With a snow storm approaching, I picked up some wood for the fireplace and checked out the items on their after the holiday sales.
Red Cardinal Holiday Tree
So, this holiday tree is full of red cardinals either in the form of glass ornaments or in nests with red berries. It looks like sprigs of dogwood decorate the top of the tree. The cardinal is actually the state bird of Virginia and Dogwood is the state tree of Virginia. So, this tree is very relatable to anyone living in the beautiful state of Virginia.
There are a few ribbons on the tree which combine a cardinal printed ribbon with a red ribbon.
This bright red cardinal ribbon is tied with a contrasting red ribbon and then placed on the holiday tree.
This red cardinal sits in a nest complete with red berries and greenery.
There are also some cardinal imprinted paper napkins and small snow globes containing red cardinals.
This red cardinal stocking holder sits on the fireplace mantel.
Ending Notes
In conclusion, who doesn’t love a red cardinal in their backyard or on a holiday tree? Some people even think spotting a red cardinal as a spiritual sign or a message of love and hope. Red cardinals are definitely a beloved bird and what better way to show case it than on a holiday tree.
Holiday sales don’t last forever so if you need something for next year, don’t forget to check out all the after the holiday sales.
