Nothing like starting the new year out right by saving a little money on things that you will use later in the year and planning ahead.
Large Faux Cinderella Pumpkins, and Planning Ahead
For example, I was going through an online catalogue when I noticed this great deal on faux Cinderella pumpkins.
Cinderella pumpkins were marked way down plus they were reduced by an extra 20%. Purchasing two pumpkins, I think I’ll use them to decorate my table next Halloween or Thanksgiving.
Curb Side Pickup Service
I used the store’s curb side pickup service so I didn’t have to go into the store. Their friendly sale associate immediately came out with a large bag with my purchases in it.
It put a smile on my face because I didn’t expect them to be so large and so realistic looking.
In fact, I noticed the tags on the pumpkins said it was for decorative purposes only and not for consumption so I guess some people thinks they are real.
I love the fact they are Cinderella pumpkins which means they are slightly flattened-looking and shaped like Cinderella’s coach.
I placed them on my coffee table so you can get an idea of how large they are.
I am going to have to store them somewhere until fall comes around again. But you can be sure I will be incorporating them into my Halloween/Thanksgiving day decorating schemes.
One of Farmhouse Magic Blog’s mottos is to, “Live the Good Life but Spend as Little Money as Possible”.
This is a perfect example of thinking ahead and then buying on sale.
By the way, if you purchased these two pumpkins at full price then it would have been closer to $99.00. I paid about $10 per pumpkin.
Faux Cotton & Leaf Wreath and Garland
I found this beautiful faux cotton wreath and garland on a 50% off sale from the sale’s price.
The unique garland measures five feet long and is garnished with realistic looking open cotton bolls and grape vine leaves.
This cotton boll and leaf garland is in the sales box so it makes it great for storage.
The off white color scheme using the white faux Cinderella pumpkins and the cotton boll garland will look great on my dinning room table come next Thanksgiving.
