I’m going back to the 1970’s when I remember teenagers wearing Patched Jeans. Wearing these patched jeans makes me feel young again. Of course, these patched jeans are actually jeggings and the patch is intentional.
Patched Jeggings Jeans
I was looking in the online catalogue for something a little bit different when I noted these patched faded blue jeans jeggings. They have a pull up waist band and are definitely easy to wear. The material feels very soft and worn looking.
I’m also wearing a trio of bracelets to go with the young look. The newest bracelet is the silver beaded one with one large blue bead. In thinking back to the 1970’s fashion, I also tossed on a tie dyed tunic top to complete the retro-yet-modern look. Lastly, a pair of comfortable blue shoes are on my feet.
Ending Notes
So, today’s blog makes me remember what’s it is like to be young again. To not care if your clothing has a patch on it or not. With these jeggings, the hole in the knee and the patch is purely a fashion statement.
However, the patch makes me think of teenagers in the 1970’s. Gals at my high school had a dress code, so there was no wearing of patched jeans. However, the guys definitely got away with more. I remember one guy wearing blue jeans with a patch of the US flag over his bottom. Of course, this might have been a political statement of the Viet Nam war which was still raging on. Another guy wore jeans with a hole in the bottom. Now, this guy really needed that patch.
Anyways, as far a memories go, thanks Chico’s for the great pair of casual jeggings and the trio of fun bracelets.
It’s nice to go back in time, and put on something that reminds me of a youthful time. Anyway, that’s was fashion is all about, being your own person.
