Ornamental Pepper Plants
I took a photograph of these ornamental pepper plants in a garden center.
I love the bright colors and the spiky pepper shapes. They remind me of what the outer layer of the sun would look like.
Upon checking these peppers are safe to eat but you really wouldn’t like them. They are cultivated for their attractive assets. Some ornamental pepper plants are just too hot to eat and others are bland tasting.
It’s better to buy your peppers for pepper steak from the grocery store or grow a few edible plants in your summer garden.
