New Year’s Table “Champagne Glass” Centerpiece
Happy New Year to all my Farmhouse Magic Blog readers!
I wanted to share my “champagne glass” centerpiece overflowing with “bubbles”.
To set up this table setting, I first got my glass footed cake stand and turned it upside down. This particular cake stand can be fitted together with its top to make a good sized footed punch bowl.
I filled the top of the “punch bowl” with clear or silver tree bulbs to simulate the bubbles in champagne. I added a red crazy straw for a fun look.
The table runner with a zebra print is actually a curtain panel that was purchased at a second hand store.
I changed out my candles to red which picks up the color of the crazy straw.
I also added two clear glass bobeches on my candle sticks to keep the wax off the table.
They are wonderful to use with candles since they keep all the wax off the tablecloths or table.
I noticed this bobeche advertisement in an upscale garden store.
Apparently three styles of bobeches were available.
However, it is actually rather hard to find them in stores at all so this was unusual.

There is a small white polar bear tree decoration in front the the candle sticks.
If you look closely, you will also see a clear glass butterfly in front of the glasses.
The glass butterfly was actually on my wedding cake.
Here we are ready for a toast to 2020.
