Light Weight Cardigan Sweaters–Fashion Staple

I thought I would share with my Farmhouse Magic Blog Readers my special fashion package which arrived today.

I ordered a couple of very light-weight basic cardigan sweaters with three buttons in the front. The sweaters are made made with a 3/4 sleeves length, no pockets and are slightly longer in the back. I ordered a sweater in both imperial blue and black colors as these two colors work with almost everything I wear.

The photograph on the bottom left shows the items which arrived today. The photograph on the right, shows the black and imperial blue cardigan sweaters.

If you look closely on this photograph you can see the strong sunlight coming in from the back of the chair through the light weight imperial blue sweater.

I don’t presently have anything this light weight in my sweater drawer but I think it will be useful for once the days begin to cool off. It also be nice to have a summer sweater if I need one during evening hours. Although the washing instructions are for a delicate wash, I’ll probably hand wash them because of the upscale abalone shell buttons. I read previous comments that these buttons would break in the washing cycle.

I also ordered a rayon spandex layering tee shirt in a block print in earth tone shades of brown, tan and black. The sleeves are long and I love the notch detail in the cuffs.

This layering tee shirt will also work with the black cardigan sweater I purchased or with some of my other wardrobe.

However, my favorite purchase was the black faux fur wristlet purse for travel. Only one side is covered with plush faux fur and the other side looks like some type of (faux?) suede. It closes with a sturdy looking zipper and will swing from your wrist with the handle.

The wristlet is large enough so you can take along your keys, money, comb, and some makeup. Sometimes I find the evening type bags are too small to take much of anything.

I like the size of this bag and the black fur on one side catches attention where ever it goes. It is also a cooler weather item.

Looks like I’m ready for fall.
