Today was the opening day of the Flagship Car Wash which is advertised as the largest indoor car wash in America. The Flagship Car Wash is right across from One Loudoun in Ashburn, VA.
The car wash is huge covering approximately 65,000 square feet of indoor space.
As luck would have it, they were offering a free car wash to introduce the facility to the area.
One of the technical directors had a dirty car needing a good washing. He quickly took them up on their free offer and came early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Car Wash Experience
When one enters the car wash there are two side-by-side wash tunnels so there is no waiting. There are 22 free vacuum stations, 10 detailing stations and 3 dry belt conveyors.
The cars all begin at the “Starting Line” and quickly go through the facility ending up at the “Finishing Line”. The car wash takes approximately 13 minutes.
Car Wash Experience
Our technical director said this is the best car wash ever. His car looked almost shiny new.
Colorful lights turn on while going through the wash and wax cycles elevating the experience.
He was totally happy with the great service and the wonderful results.
Vacuum Station
He was, also, in awe, of the free vacuum stations. Each light-weight vacuum station ran constantly and there was a vacuum on each side of the car for easy use.
It was nice not having to maneuver an unwieldly vacuum hose to both sides of the car and the vacuum could be run as long as needed. Also, there was no waiting to use the vacuums or looking for extra quarters to keep the vacuums running.
At the vacuum station is a bin of damp rags to clean the inside windows and other areas of the car with.
