Thanksgiving Table with Glass Pumpkins and Silk Leaves Thanksgiving Table with Glass Pumpkins and Silk Leaves

Happy Thanksgiving!

Farmhouse Magic Blog wishes you and your family a great Thanksgiving!

These photographs were taken of my Thanksgiving table.

The autumn sun beams gently shine through my French doors and highlight the two large glass pumpkins on the table.

The pumpkins are of made of slightly frosted glass with curly tendrils of pulled glass decorating the stems.  The pumpkins were purchased in a second hand shop for only ten dollars.

The tablecloth is an off white color.  In the center of the table, there is one long multi colored quilted tablecloth runner.

I selected brown flowered table napkins which pick up all the colors of the table runner and remind me of fall days.

Over the entire table top, I scatted silk leaves in colors of yellow, red, brown, orange, and green.

If you look carefully, you will notice my turkey is stuffed with a whole white onion.  This keeps the meat moist.

It worked out nicely since my turkey meat was pretty tasty and moist.

I served my turkey on a large wooden tray to keep the table cloth and runner clean.

After the turkey is carved and served, I simply removed the tray and the table top remained spot free for serving dessert.

My Thanksgiving side dishes were homemade deviled eggs, a relish tray and cranberry sauce.

The deviled eggs and relish side dishes were served in pretty white turkey dishes purchased from the Pottery Barn.

The first photograph on this blog shows what the dishes looked like empty.

Our family here at Farmhouse Magic Blog looks forward to Thanksgiving, a great meal, and a time for family.

Please leave us a reply if you did something special for Thanksgiving.  We would love to hear from you!

    1. Carol,
Thanks for the nice comment. I enjoy setting up the table. However, I did have to look up the placement of the water and wine glasses. Have a great holiday season.
