Happy New Year 2025 to all my Farmhouse Magic Blog Readers! Well that’s it for the old year, so what can we hope for in 2025? Did you make any New Years resolutions?
I did, it’s to have more FUN! Right now, I have absolutely no fun at any time although there are some individuals who think I have plenty of fun. Those people will be nameless.
Ways for Farmhouse Magic Blog to Have More Fun
- Visit Friends
- Do Less Housework – Have others help out.
- Go out to Lunch More
- Stop being a slave to mealtimes
- Be more relaxed around the house – Take refreshing naps – Who cares if somebody doesn’t have any clean socks to wear to work, right?
OK, I can also expand of some of the above items.
Happy New Year 2025 – A Rainbow Type of Year
The beautiful rainbow photograph was sent to me by Trail Diva, one of our longtime Farmhouse Magic Blog readers. Trail Diva said, “One day there was a rainbow and then the next day, a snow storm”.
I think this is pretty much how life goes, too. One day things are great and then the next day changes are about.
I like the woods in the background of the rainbow photograph. Although the trees are missing leaves, soon spring will roll around and spark growing things to life. it’s a cycle that repeats itself time, after time, after time.

So, what happened on Happy New Year 2025 day? Let’s see, I slept in late. Then went to mass. Had lunch at a Sheetz store. Ate leftovers for dinner and took the Christmas tree down.
Ok, looks like I am off to a great start on the resolutions of sleeping in late, going out to lunch, not being a slave to mealtimes, and doing very little housework.
