Over the years, I heard a lot about the Elf on the Shelf, but never anything on the Halloween Fairies.
What Are Halloween Fairies?
Today as I strolled around the neighborhood, I happened to notice this unusual Halloween yard design, so I snapped a few photographs.
Because of the warning signage on the property, apparently it is best to leave the fairies alone. So, I was careful not to disturb them.
As best as I can tell, the Halloween Fairies are petite with transparent blue wings. They are traditionally dressed in green garden leaves and flowers.
In addition, they float in the air on almost invisible strings and wires. On Halloween night, I’m told the fairies are rigged to move about.
Human-Sized Fairy is Part of the Halloween Fairies?
There is one human-sized fairy in the group and I suspect she is the leader like the queen bee. She looks out from her hiding spot next a wooden box. Or perhaps she is hiding from those eerie-looking flying skeletons? She wears a green top and short skirt with purple wings.
Flying Skeletons
From the cute Halloween Fairies, things start to turn darker when I notice the creepy skeletons hanging from a large tree branch. They have fairy wings of pink, purple and blue but are definitely not fairies.
Ending Notes on Halloween Fairy Blog
After speaking with the homeowner, I’m told that a few more Halloween “surprises” are yet to come out.
All I can say is I’m glad I viewed this Halloween display in the light of day. I suspect those Halloween Fairies might get riled up with the trick-or-treaters.
Of course, this blog is fictional but enjoy the fun of the Halloween holiday. So, Isn’t it fun to dress up and be someone new for the night?
Happy Halloween Everyone!
FYI: So what does FMB do to decorate her house up for the Halloween season?
That’s right, a orange pumpkin, purple mums and a large green bug. Hopefully, the green bug will glow in the dark.
Now to get that trick-or-treat candy ready.
A Special Thank you goes out to my neighbors who give the trick-or-treaters something different to see every Halloween. Also, thanks for allowing me to blog and take photographs of your home.
