Today I am out for a walk in the neighborhood about an hour before the sun begins to set.

The weather reports states we could get a dusting of snow by tomorrow morning.

It is always fun to see what is new in the neighborhood.

Santa and the Gang

Here we see a blow up decoration of good old Santa, an elf dressed in green, and a reindeer.

There are also a couple of presents.

Santa waves to those who pass by with his light blue mittens.

This photograph shows a classic JOY sign set up on a well maintained green lawn.

The sign is illuminated at night with a couple of flood lights.

Joy to All Decoration Snowman Decoration Holding a Star

This thin style snowman is dressed in a blue top hat, scarf, and mittens.

The snowman is holding a star up high and he seems happy.

He has three black buttons running down his front.

Near the base of the snowman are red and green old fashion lights.

This two below photographs shows a huge snowman on the front lawn.  No this is not trick photography, the snowman is as tall as the house.

I tried to photograph him near a tree, so  you can judge for yourself.

To keep the snowman in place, he is tethered down in at least a couple of areas with with rope.  He reminds me of those large blimp balloons they pull in parades.

I had to be careful as I didn’t want to stand too close in case the wind blew him in my direction.
