Garden Seedlings Garden Seedlings

Today our garden store delivery arrived.

We ordered some regular sized tomato plants, cherry size tomato plants, and a few cucumber plants.

We also ordered bags of top soil and mulch for around the house.

During COVID-19 Times – Overcharges of the Week?

Bruised Pear Bruised Pear

Yesterday I received pears in my food shipment.

This is a photograph of what the pears looked like for the price of $4.71 for five pears.

I was able to peel the brown bruises off.  The pears were still edible and sweet tasting.

However, I’m now almost out of bleach.

It can be purchased for $41 for a large “gallon” bottle over the internet.  Not sure what to do about that one.

Bleach Update Note 5-18-2020 – Upon review of that online bleach price, the $41 was for three “gallons” of bleach or approximately $13.66 per bottle.

Economically speaking, a little bit of supply and high demand going on here.

  1. Amee,
Thank you for reading my blog and for your comment regarding “spelling issues”. I often go back and change text or add photographs to my old blog posts. Once in awhile an error will slip past me, however, I try my best. Enjoy your day and stay safe.
