Garden Contest Winner

Wow, what do say but I am a 2025 Garden Contest winner. Actually, I am one of three 2025 Garden Contest winners. After so many years of trying to win the local contest; what can I say but, “I won, I won!” No, I’m not the modest type, I texted everyone I know that I won!

Delivering the Garden Sign and Gift Certificate

Dana, a lovely local lady, dropped off the winning garden sign and a gift certificate. I am so excited about winning this contest. Presently I put the small sign out front so everyone can see who won this year.

The prize items were wrapped and bagged so nicely, that I was almost sad to open them.

I tried for years and years to win so all my garden efforts have finally paid off.

I guess the nice part of the prize is that the five photos of my garden will appear in the local online newspaper published by our homeowner’s Assocation. Yes, after blogging and having over 1,500 blogs, I’m actually a pretty good photographer so I think my photos are OK.

Concluding Remarks for the Garden Contest Winner Blog

I love being this year’s garden Conter Winner! Now I guess I am going to have to live up to that reputation by keeping my garden green, blooming, neat and pruned.

Every year I try to grow a new flower, plant or shrub. Gardening is a life-long learning experience for me. You learn about where different plants come from and how to care for them. Of course, plants can come from all over the world.

As the fall season begins, slowly the flowering plants will die out. The gardener in me will get the flower beds ready to put to sleep for the winter by doing the last bit of mulching, watering, etc.

Time to say the autumn is near and dear, until next spring.
