I was out for coffee this morning when I came across this cute dog waiting for her “human” mom in the car.

I was intrigued by the large blue collar around the dog’s neck.

After talking to the owner, apparently the dog had recent surgery and chewed on the cone collar they normally use.

The owner decided to try this protective blowup collar to prevent the surgical area from being scratched.

It also allows the dog to eat and drink.

The dog was a little shy because every time I got near to take a photograph, she would duck down.

Her “human” mom was working a different shift and trying to get her errands done.  The told me she worked as a nurse.

So here at Farmhouse Magic Blog we would like to say, “Thank you for working in the hospital, and being our Hero in the time of COVID-19.”
