Today I started to paint and put together the faux cupcake, fudge and butter pat.

Directions for Painting and Finishing the Faux Cupcake, Fudge, & Butter Pat
I painted the butter pat a light shade of yellow with acrylic paint.
The faux cupcake was painted white and glued into a pink cupcake liner. It was easier to keep the shape of the cupcake by allowing it to dry in a cupcake or muffin tin.
I painted the faux fudge with expresso colored acrylic paint. I thought the expresso color looked more like chocolate.
All the items were painted with a second coating of acrylic paint and allowed to thoroughly dry.
