Today I attended a Zoom meeting on how to take your website from so-so to outstanding.
I thought I would share a few things I learned.
Eight Helpful Tips for Improving Your Website
- Have a video snippet clip on your home page of your product and yourself. That tells customers who you are.
- If you are selling a product have your telephone number or contact information on the top left or right and also on the footer.
- Use professional photographs. Hire a professional photographer if you need to.
- Hire a service to back up your website daily or do it yourself.
- Use a good hosting company. GoDaddy is great with helpful technical people to answer your blog questions.
- Graphs should be easy to read and clearly show what you want your customer to know.
- Use easy to read fonts. Avoid using too curvy cursive or informal fonts on your blog.
- Use testimonial plugins and keep the plugins up to date.
This is actually a no-no. Never use a screen shot for your website.
They are not clear or professional looking.
I hope I have given you a few helpful tips for improving your own website.
