Doing Errands . . .

New Outdoor Dining Areas New Outdoor Dining Area Patio Chairs Placed Six Feet Apart

Today I made up my mind to take care of some needed errands I’ve been putting off.

I thought I would bring my Readers with me on this trip.

Of course, I am wearing my face mask and disposable gloves.

I am also wearing my new sunglasses and a hat.   I actually don’t think anyone would recognize me if they knew me.

While out, I decided to pick up some bread and croissants at my favorite bakery.

As you can see in the above photograph, the bakery has set up an outdoor patio for their coffee drinkers.

I think it is nice that they added a little greenery in large crocks to define the area.

The bakery has also placed a few red and yellow patio chairs around the outside of the store.

I noticed that the patio chairs are correctly placed six feet apart keeping in line with our state’s social distancing regulations.

I, also, think it would be easy for the store workers  to clean and wipe down the tables and chairs.

This bakery has a totally contactless purchase station set up.

The credit card machine was pulled out front to slide your credit card through.

This photograph is the inside of my bag of bakery treats.

My purchases today were a loaf of freshly made and sliced bread, and three butter croissants.

No Touch Key Chain Tool No Touch Key Chain Tool

Today I was trying out this handy no touch key chain tool.  See above photogragh.

You can place it on your key chain, however, I think it might be a little heavy for that.  I’ll probably keep it in the car somewhere.

I actually found this gadget to be very helpful.

To open a door you can push or pull with the padded ends of the tool.  It is easiest to do when you put your finger into the hole handle.

I loved that I never touched the door or the door handle at the bakery or at the garage/gas station.  It costs about $10 or less and this one was purchased online.

Car Inspection Station Car Inspection Station

My next errand was to get my state inspection done on my car.

Here I am in line at the inspection station.  There is one car ahead of me, so I decided to wait.

Usually, I get out of the car and stand in the shade, however, today I stayed in the car with the windows rolled up.

When the inspector took my car into the bay, I waited outside of the store until my car was done.

I also decided to fill up my gas tank, so I had to go into the store second time because the cashier wouldn’t allow me to pay for gas until my car was at the pump.

When I get home, I am going to use disinfecting wipes to clean the steering wheel, door handle and controls.

Here I am back into my neighborhood.  I noticed this large happy birthday sign on a neighbor’s lawn.

It actually was so bright and happy, it made my day.  Happy Birthday to that 8th Year Old!

So that ends, my needed errands trip.  Time to hop in the shower, scrub, and change my clothing.

Take care and stay healthy.
