Dress Drive for the Diva Central Shopping Event
A dress drive, held in February, collects the dresses for the event. All dresses, also, need to be dry cleaned.
So formal dresses get a second chance at being the life of the party and making some dreams come true.
Diva Central Perks
The Diva Central event goes beyond formal dresses, also, having a photo wall, refreshment table, door prizes, raffles and even a free caricature drawing.
This light refreshment table had free candy, bottled water, and pink punch.
First Impressions
At the event, a very nice gentleman at the front table was there to answer questions about the Diva Central Event. Attesting to the popularity of the yearly give-a-way, he told me a line was present even before the opening.
I spent time window-shopping through the racks of dresses to get an idea what was on the racks.
The beautiful dresses came in all styles, glittered, strapless, long, short, feathered and sequined.
Obviously, a lot of volunteers and volunteer hours went into making this event so special.
I believe these were name or shopping tags.
End of Visit
While there, several students took formal dresses back to dressing room try on. Everyone had a great time in this pop-up free boutique.
Diva Central is a happy place to shop!
