Delightful Holiday Cakes

Delightful Holiday Cakes

Today, I visited our local Paris Baguette Bakery for coffee and to check out their Delightful Holiday Cakes.

I noted, that each cake is carefully decorated usually with a seasonal flair.

When looking at the below photograph, Frosty’s Cookie Butter Crunch Cake not only has a small holiday snowman topping the cake but also the wording Merry Christmas. It looks like it has cookie or graham cracker crumbs up the tall sides.

Buche De Noel -Delightful Holiday Cakes

This time of year, you often see Buche De Noel log-looking cakes in bakeries. This cake has both a red and green gnome or elf decorating the cake, curls of chocolate shavings and a small green tree. Then the cake is lightly dusted with powered sugar.

This is just one of the many different types of cakes available at this bakery. Paris Baguette also sells a variety of pastries, breads, sandwiches, salads, etc.

The first cake in the below photograph is a Winter Village Chocolate Strawberry Soft Cream Cake. It is decorated with a cute little house, Santa, fresh strawberries and chocolate curls.

Interestingly, I noted a green tea cake in this bakery. I have never tasted a green tea cake but apparently it is a light and fluffy cake which is flavored with Matcha powder or green tea. The cake originates from Japan and is actually green. It would be a great choice for those wishing to have green and red on their holiday serving tables.

The cake with the peppermint stripe on the side is called an Enchanted Red Velvet Cake.

Ending Notes

In conclusion, I hope my Readers enjoyed a look at the delicious-looking cakes made by the Paris Baguette Bakery. I, also love the holiday names given to each of their cakes.

It’s great to have such a wonderful bakery nearby. So when I need a special dessert, and don’t have time to make it, I don’t have to drive far.

The Holiday Season is here at last! Happy Merriment!
