Although I’ve been kind enough to allow you to raise your last batch of baby bunnies in my yard, I now have a small request. So, Dear Mr. Rabbit I ask you one thing, please do not eat my hosta flowers.
I know your baby rabbits were super cute as they matured and finally began to hop around my yard. I was careful not to roll the garbage bins over your nest or place the trash cans about it. We even tossed a few twigs over it to disguise it from predators.
Also, we were careful not to mow any of the baby bunnies over while mowing the lawn. We really had your best interest at heart.
However, now I find this morning that you had a steady diet of my purple hosta flowers for breakfast. Yes, I found you munching and crunching on my flowers. In fact, now I only have few flowers left. I guess you’ll start next on the host variegated leaves.

Dear Mr. Rabbit Stop!
Now I find I am going to have to ask you to leave my “garden of Eden” and ask you to munch and crunch somewhere else.
I tried to run you out of my fence, but you are not too scared of me.
Ending Notes on Dear Mr. Rabbit
It’s time for you to find your new home and a little tough love is needed here.
It’s a good thing I already took some hosts photos for the local garden contest because I really would be mad.
Nevertheless, it’s time for you and your rabbit family to move on to greener clover pastures.
And to all my Farmhouse Magic Blog Readers, Happy 4th of July, too!
