After a shopping trip to one of my favorite garden centers, I noticed several items which shout out Cowgirl Christmas to me.
So, what exactly is a cowgirl to me? If one checks online, it states a cowgirl tends cattle on American western ranches much like a cowboy. She can ride a horse, rope cattle and faces life head on with no excuses. She has big dreams and opinions and will not be ignored. A cowgirl might like the color pink and rhinestones, but she, also, likes a big blue sky.
Here are a few holiday items that a cowgirl might appreciate. The below holiday stockings are made to look like cowgirl boots in both pink and brown colors. There are also some cowboy hat ornaments for the tree.

Cowgirl Up Pillow
I, also, like the Cowgirl Up pillow because it has a pink lasso worked into the design. Also, note the package of Disco String Lights and some unusual hairclips shaped like guitars.
Cowgirl Up is all about attitude.

A few more things about cowgirls–they are loyal, love tradition, and their horses.

This holiday tree decorated with vintage-looking pink ribbons and ornaments might be to the liking of a cowgal.
I like the needlepoint ornament stating, “This Actually is My First Rodeo”. There are, also, lots of horses and pink cowboy boots/hats on this holiday tree.

Ending Notes on Cowgirl Christmas Blog
OK, I guess I’m not a real cowgirl but more like a cowgirl want-to-be.
I guess it all started back at Camp Pendleton when they would hold an annual Christmas season rodeo for military families. I’m I the only one that remembers those neat rodeos on the parade grounds? When the rodeo was over, they gave all the children a ticket where they could visit a booth in their age frame and pick out a very nice gift to take home.
So, I guess here is where we say, “Happy Trials to All”. I know I’m halfway to being a cowgal, after all I have all that sassy Farmhouse Magic Blog attitude.
A Big Thank You to Merrifield Garden Center for allowing me to blog and take photographs at their holiday decked out garden store. (I Love all the work you put into making the garden center look magical. Also, thanks for the beautiful Merrifield Garden calendars.)
All items featured in today’s blog photographs can be purchased there.
