Well, I’ve been offline for a bit, and I guess you are wondering if I built an igloo with all that extra ice around my house. However, the truth of the matter is that igloo is going to have to wait for another snowstorm.
However, you can see from my photographs that huge chunks of ice were taken from the sidewalk and tossed to the side.
So, what’s new in Farmhouse Magic Blog Kingdom? I have a list of things I did during our recent snow and ice storm. You can read more about my snowy adventures below.

Things to Do Besides Building an Igloo
First, during my several days of being indoors, I decided to declutter my place. In fact, that has been an ongoing project of mine. Of course, I didn’t go full throttle on this project. So, I got in my donation pile a pair of pants, long underwear, a toilet paper roll holder and a new holiday wreath. Note: I didn’t get around to making that second wreath to sell for one of my favorite charities.
Second, I did a bunch of wash because when people came indoors, things were wet. I am always out of laundry detergent. I go through a lot of that each week. One of my Readers said she stockpiles laundry detergent when she has coupons and when it was on sale. So, she has about 30 containers of it in her basement. Lucky gal!
Third, I talked with and telephoned friends. Yes, it is good to catch up with what’s happening in each other’s lives. Sometimes life get too busy.
Fourth, with everyone being home, I made lots of meals. In fact, I’m a little tired of all these homemade meals. Yes, they are nutritious and I try to avoid too many carbs.
Fifth, craft projects. I started a new faux food craft project. However, I don’t know exactly what site I am going to donate it to. I have three sites that will take my faux food donations. Today, I’m making a couple of faux rolls out of sponge packing material. but that’s another blog.

Ending Notes on Build an Igloo Blog
Well, I see that we are going to get some above freezing temperatures early next week. I guess our snow and ice days are soon to be done with.
However, I enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with a snowstorm. All in all, I think I am ready for some above freezing fun and games.
I am also concerned about the days of freezing conditions for my plants. I hope they all make it through. I’m a little concerned about my Dazzleberry Sedum. It’s small yet.
Hopefully, you have found your snow days as productive as mine.

Take Care and Don’t Slip! “Build an Igloo Days” don’t last forever.
