Brick Mania More than Plastic Building Blocks

If you ever snapped together plastic building blocks and love military history, then Brick Mania is the store is for you.

Today I came across the store while out for a drive.  I went back for a few photographs and a closer look in the windows.

The online information for Brick Mania is fascinating.  Their factory is located in Minneapolis, MN.

Their company makes high quality, historically accurate military building kits featuring all types of airplanes, tanks, ships and other military accessories.  Their web site shows kits from WWI and WWII.

Their factory employs “professional” brick builders.  Sounds like a fun job.

It custom prints new figures using genuine LEGO blocks.  Their kits contain all new bricks.

Brick Mania pays great attention to small details.  For example, the tracks on their military tanks mimic a real tank’s track.

The kits do not contain gory battle scenes.

The kits can be played with by children but I think the bigger picture is adults interested in historic war battles, modeling kits and, also, collectors.

Sorry my photographs have quite a bit of glare on them and it is a little difficult to see the displays.

Every year Brick Mania holds a convention for its fans where people can show off their creations, network, listen to speakers, or attend workshops.

It is coming up in June, 2021.

This company shows yet another innovative use of one of the world’s most beloved plastic building blocks.
