Black Cats and Moon Halloween Candy Basket
I made this adorable Halloween candy basket. The first step is to get a regular basket and spray paint it orange. I used an old red Christmas basket.
The two black cats and one moon were cut out of felt fabric. I went through my old buttons and found four matching buttons and sewed them on as eyes. Using embroidery floss I made the nose and the mouth with a “Y” pattern.
The last step is to glue the moon on the basket front. Then slightly overlap the two cats over the moon and glue. I usually line the basket with a couple of festive napkins. Fill with your favorite candy treats.
I have also used the same design with colored construction paper pasted on poster board.
