What could be cuter than this, a Big Car Little Car parked together on the street? This really made Farmhouse Magic Blog smile.
OK, of course, this is an area of the street where parking is not at a premium. My neighbors usually park right up to the property line in my front street. They, also, have more than one vehicle. That sweet little green kid’s car would probably get smashed between our two cars.
Parking the Car and Imitation
However, I like to think that little green car’s owner is imitating mom or dad with parking their vehicle. Look how close he parks to the curb. Just like the blue car’s driver. The kiddo gets points there when he goes for his driver’s training class.
I, also, like how much space he left between the cars. It will be easy for big car to get out of his parking space and into traffic.
Ending Notes
In conclusion, it’s so true that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. We need to be careful of what we do and say, because if you have little ones in the household they will see and hear you. We only want good behaviors repeated, right?
This made me also think of a time, way back when, I was shopping in the supermarket with my little friend. I placed this person in the shopping cart and it had a yellow steering wheel in it. My little friend immediately grabbed the wheel and the shopping cart “took off”. It took so much effort because he had to look between carts to make sure there was enough room. I never told my friend, that I was actually maneuvering the cart between the other carts and objects in the store. But, of course, that’s another story to be told.
I hope today’s blog brings back good “parking” memories for you, if there can be such a memory.
And, be sure to have a Happy Day and, of course, it’s nice to have wheels.
