I was online scrolling around looking at things to do in Herndon, when I noticed the Aslin Beer Company located in downtown Herndon on Elden Street.
I drove to the Aslin Beer Company but I arrived a few minutes before opening time, so walked around the outdoor patio beer garden.
Aslin Beer
The below photograph shows the outside area. It has a very modern look to it. There are lots of outdoor tables to sit at. Right now, the tables and benches are wet from today’s rain. There are strings of lights overhead to light the area at night.
There is also, what looks to be, some type of upstairs patio area associated with it.
The below sign advertises the Aslin Beer Co. Bazaar Times postings. From the sign, it looks like this is some type of bi-weekly marketing event.
The photograph on the left shows the sign outside on the patio beer garden area.
The beers have unusual names likes Bird Leaf to Stating the Obvious, Vienna Lager, etc.
When I entered the Aslin Beer Company, I was greeted by a very nice man who gave me lots of information on craft beers, the history of the company, etc.
The Herndon area tap room has a very modern, clean and fresh look to it. The walls are covered in very large modern murals.
The below photograph shows a neon-light fixture over the taps of the many craft beers the company sells.
There was actually quite a bit of merchandise for sale in the store. They sell anything from T-shirts, hats, drinking glasses, stickers and mugs.
The Aslin Beer Co. began simply when the owner experimented with a beer making kit and things took off from there. The recipes were tested and tweaked until the beer was perfect.
This display wall shows a good variety of shirts, hats, and drinking glasses.

You can also purchase 4-packs of beer to take with you to try at home.
Brewing Aslin Beer
The beer is actually brewed at the Aslin Beer Company in Alexandria where they have a second store.
Towards the back of the store, there is a rack holding several wooden barrels behind sheets of plexiglass. There is also a small office in the back of the store.
The Aslin Beer Company does not have a kitchen, but a food truck is available for food orders.
Ending Comments
The Aslin Beer Company looks like a fun place to visit and try out perhaps a few of the many craft beer offerings.
Next time, I’m bringing my significant other. Yes, I’ll definitely be back to try a brew or two.
The indoor tap room is clean and spacious.
