Asian Supermarket Shopping Trip
Today I took a trip to my local Asian supermarket. I needed some items.
The store has a large selection of usual fruits and vegetables.
The below left photograph shows a box of purple potatoes. I’ve tried them and they are indeed purple all the way through.
The below right photograph show a large display of organic fresh ginger root. I actually bought a fresh ginger root as I like to use it to flavor stir fry cooking.
Anyone have any tips on how to select a fresh ginger root?

These oranges were large, fresh and very tasty.
There is also a small ginger root below the oranges.

The store sells many types of dried fish including seasoned red squid, (see the below photograph).
In summing up, I enjoyed shopping in the Asian supermarket and also looking at some of the unusual items offered for sale.
I was also pleased with the reasonable prices on fresh produce and fish.
