So, right before Easter, we took a trip to one of our favorite garden centers to check out their springtime blooms and to get several bags of their hardwood mulch.
The garden center was so packed, we had to circle to find a parking spot. But not to worry, they also have an overflow parking lot available on those busy days.
Front of Store – Springtime Blooms
The front left side of the store had a great selection of flowers in blooms. In the photograph below, I like those dark purple tulips in bloom as they are so striking in color.

On the right side of the front display area, there is a variety of plants most with spring blooms. There is even a large turtle lawn or garden ornament.

Other Springtime Items for Sale
This fountain, below, has a different design to it. The leaf impressions are unusual and interesting to look at. The center of the fountain slowly bubbles water where it trickles back to the reservoir.

I’m not sure what type of leaves this fountain has pressed into the bottom, but I like the natural look.
Although these cabbage heads look real, they are actually faux but the attention to detail is fantastic. Note the white veins in each leaf. Each head is on a spike and is priced at $27.99 each.

Ending Notes on Springtime Blooms
An item we have not much talked about is this store’s fresh flower arrangements. These fresh floral arrangements have lots of green, pink and white flowers plus some sprigs of unusual plants rarely seen in floral arrangements.

We hope you enjoyed our garden store tour today. For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed spring blooms along with warmer days. As aways, Happy Spring to all.
All “blooms”, plants, etc., featured in today’s blog are available for purchase at Merrifield Garden Center.
Also, a big Thank You to Merrifield Garden Center for allowing me to blog and take photographs of their garden center. I’m always amazed at their selection of stunning looking plants and flowers.
