Shopping Trip to Middleburg, VA
I recently took a holiday shopping trip to Middleburg, VA.
Everyone I talked to was friendly, personable and just plain nice. The smiles were warm and genuine.
No one was in a rush and quite a few stores opened at 12 noon. Oddly when traffic was blocked for a few minutes, not one motorist honked their horn in irritation to get things moving. That wouldn’t have happened in my area.
Restaurant with Outdoor Patio in Middleburg, VA
This restaurant was located in Middleburg, VA. I like the fact it has a nice fire pit and stand alone silver heaters.
Although it was probably too cold to eat outside, the patio looked like a great place to hang out.
Vintage Lamps in the Antique StoreWe all know that Farmhouse Magic Blog is unable to pass up a good antique store.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Middleburg antique store. Looking at these vintage lamps made me appreciate the art of creating objects with stained glass.
Vintage Crystal Lighting European Toy StoreThe above vintage crystal lighting photograph was also taken in the antique store.
I like the way the antiques were exhibited in clear glass display cabinets. One could get close up to view the objects and it also kept any dust off the valuables.
The last photograph is of the European toy store. The store contained many wooden toys. I noticed quite a few items made in Germany. Interesting to browse in.
Wrapping up, I would love to live this in this quaint little town.
