A Visit to a 5-Star Hotel and Spa
After hearing the docents at the plantation talk about this 5-Star hotel and spa, we decided to drive down and check it out for ourselves.
This is a photograph of the Christmas tree in the main lobby which was decorated with many types of colorful ornaments.
I like the fact that there were two doormen at the front door to open both doors for the guests.
Fireplace in the Main LobbyIt was a bit nippy when we visited the hotel, so we were impressed with the very warm fireplace in the main lobby.
The mirror over the fireplace stretched up toward the ceiling.
Patio Area Outside of the Main LobbyThis is a quiet little sitting area outside of the Main Lobby.
I liked the ornamental cabbage in the crocks.
The hotel staff and service during our visit were excellent.
The hotel and spa has a full equestrian center for those who love to ride. Also of interest, is we were told the hotel has a “mini-horse” named Cupcake that is sort of a mascot to the place. Unfortunately, I did not get to see him.
The hotel and spa embodies quiet luxury in the heart of horse country.
