OK, I’ve been thinking about trying this orange bun Halloween burger for a while. I finally got to order one over the weekend. This whole time I was thinking that perhaps they added a dab of pumpkin to the bun to give it that rich color. However, that is not the case. Also, this burger is a special item offered during the Halloween season. Of course, I am all for offering something special to note the fall season, too.
Halloween Burger Taste Test
This burger is made with American Cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion slice, pickles, catsup and mayo. The striking orange bun is dotted with black sesame seeds.
According to the web site, the burger bun gets its festive coloring from natural spices and, alas, not from pumpkin puree.

To me, the bun also tastes about the same as the standard bun. I didn’t notice any difference except the coloring and the black sesame seeds.
So, I rarely order a burger with bacon on it so that upped the taste a bit. I, also, enjoyed my meal. We paid about $16 for the burger, fries, soda, plus an extra soft drink. I, believe, this is a little more expensive that a regular burger.
Concluding Remarks
And so, we end another blog on what’s new for the season.
With Halloween only a few weeks away, I’ve been busy stocking up on candy and some other goodies for the trick-or-treaters.
I, also, love those marketing officials that come up new and seasonally themed food items.
I love trying and blogging about what’s new. And, of course, . . .
Happy Halloween!
