Although I rarely blog about chain restaurants, we have a new My Panera in Reston, so I decided to say a few words about our visit today. My Panera is an American chain of bakery-cafe fast casual restaurants with over 2,000 locations.
We were looking for a place to stop in for a cup of coffee and iced tea, when we remembered the new My Panera in town. Of course, we have a number of My Panera restaurants nearby us.
Large Dining Area
I think what we noted first about this location is the large dining room with nice tables and chairs. There is an open floor plan with high ceilings. We stopped in today at about 2:30 p.m., so I guess we missed the lunch crowd.
The place has a modern and comfortable feel to it. There are three extra-large basket type light fixtures near the ceiling.
I liked this bright and airy restaurant.
Iced Tea Station
My Panera sells both Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea and unsweetened Iced Tea. I tried the unsweetened iced tea which I enjoyed.
This My Panera store has a large dining area and some bench like seating. The large windows allow in lots of light.
Bakery Items in the New My Panera
My Panera’s bakery had quite a few bagels, pastries and loaves of bread for sale. Everything looked delicious. They also had large, packaged cookies for sale. These are shown through a large glassed off display area.
The next time we stop by, we will try out some of their menu offerings.

We enjoyed our coffee and tea break at this time new My Panera Restaurant. I’m sure we will back again.
