Stacking Bracelets

Stacking Bracelets

Wow, we haven’t had a fun fashion category blog for a while, so Stacking Bracelets is the post for today.

I love to stack bracelets since it takes the attention away from your fingers and to the wrist. I rarely, if ever, polish my nails, too much digging in the garden dirt. So, stacking bracelets works out best for me.

Our model today is wearing bracelets which are consider costume jewelry. Note: Costume jewelry is very affordable. On the left hand is a large silver-tone bead bracelet with one large blue bead, a silver-toned smaller circular bead bracelet and a wrapped silver-tone clip bracelet. All these bracelets were purchased from Chico’s, and they are priced in the $35 or under range. Also, of note is the bold black and white printed t-shirt which, also, came from Chico’s online store.

On the other hand, is a silver tone cuff bracelet with a large red center, (plastic) and a small silver cuff. These were both gifts.

So, are there any good and fast fun fashion rules for stacking or layering bracelets? I’ve found a few online.

How to Stack Bracelets

  • Let’s see, first of all one should look for symmetry of both wrists. So, if you add a few bracelets to one wrist, balance it out with a few on the other wrist.
  • Select a base metal like gold, silver or copper to build from.
  • Add a pop of color to compliment your outfit. In today’s photograph we have added a pop of bright red and blue. Our model is wearing dark blue skinny jeans.
  • Experiment with bracelets of different textures. For example, leather, wood or straw bracelets.

  • Wear a heavy bracelet or watch in the middle and work your way out with lighter feeling and looking bracelets.
  • For daily wear, 2-5 bracelets feels about right.
  • For a romantic look pair pastel-colored beads with pearls bracelets.

Ending Notes on Stacking Bracelets Blog

Don’t forget your fashion style also counts. There are no hard and fast rules for wearing stacking bracelets.

Myself, I like a pop of bright colors for my stacking bracelets, and a bit of a Boho look. I like a free-spirted, unconventional and artistic look to my stacking bracelets. Vintage bracelets are OK, too.

In conclusion, enjoy your stacking bracelet combinations.
