Boy, this time of the year it is snowy and cold, not much news, and a perfect time to blog about coffee for two.
It seems every year I get a free coffee gift card in the mail. Yes, I can use that so this weekend we went out for a couple cups of coffee. I still have money on my card, so we might see if a second trip is in order.
Resting and Relaxing Coffee Break
We stopped at a coffee shop we usually don’t frequent because it is always so busy. They have several tables and chairs outside so during the warmer months, everyone is outside enjoying their coffees or iced drinks. Actually, it was rather odd to see no one at the tables. Right now our temperatures are freezing or slightly above freezing so that explains the lack of coffee drinking customers.
Anyway, we got an indoor seat at a nice little round table and enjoyed our hot coffees. As you can see by the photograph, we both wore gloves today to keep our fingers warm. I always take my mini purse which me which fits my phone/camera perfectly. You never know where you will find a good blog photo and it helps to be prepared. Sometimes, you will only have a minute or two to take a photo before things change.
Ending Notes & Planning for 2025
This is a great time to discuss our plans for 2025 while enjoying our coffees. Generally, we have financial goals we are working to meet. Last year was no exception to that.
A lot of time we think about our present expenses and how to cut them or other ways to do things.
And, what’s best of all, the coffees we are enjoying were from a free gift card. No better way to start financial planning than that.
