Today’s blog ReStore Super Sales is about my visit to this nonprofit store. Items on this blog range anywhere from 50 cents to 500 dollars. There is something for every person at every price level.
ReStore Super Sales – 50 Cent Chairs!
The 50 Cent Chair Sale is a great deal.
The special sale offering includes a wide variety of wooden chairs in many colors for only 50 cents each. Buy a chair right now and bank the extra money you save.
This price is perfect for those on tight budgets but need a chair or two.
Christmas in July Sale – 50 Cents and Up!
I love Christmas in July sales.
ReStore super sale has a variety of holiday items from green wreaths, candles, and colorful tree bulbs.
They also had cookie tins and plates for those who like to entertain.
All items are, also, inexpensively priced from .50 cents and up.
It is definitely worth a visit to ReStore to sort through the bins if you need holiday decorations.
Sliding Barn Door
This sliding barn door recently sold as I was coming in. Obviously another great deal, so I took a quick photograph for the blog.
I love the look of this very tall sliding barn door. Sliding barn doors are quite in fashion right now. Someone I know even commented that they noted one in a modern business conference room.
This barn door is made of wood with heavy black metal rollers on top. Use it as a door to a closet, pantry or garage area. How about using one as a rolling room divider?
Leather Horse Collar
This vintage-looking horse collar has a note on it stating it is over 100 years old. It is priced at only $50.
Imagine years ago, a farmer plowing the fields and his horse wearing this leather collar.
This is a great piece vintage item at the ReStore super sale. It also makes a great conversation piece.
Artist Douglas Kenney, Large Wall Platters, $500
Currently, the Douglas Kenney fine art wall platter is my favorite piece in the ReStore shop. It is a large round wall platter in natural colors for $500.
I read quite a bit online about the artist Douglas Kenney. He produces clay art objects using organic patterns, lines as illusions, along with surface texture.
This large platter is for decorative purposes only and not intended for food-functionality use.
Ending Notes on ReStore Super Sales
What’s not to like about finding great deals in all price ranges at the local ReStore shop?
All items are available this week at the Reston/Herndon ReStore shop except for the large wooden barn door, that is already sold.
Happy ReStore Shopping and be sure to check out all those great deals from 50 cents to $500!
A special thank you to Paul for allowing me to take photographs and to blog about the Reston/Herndon ReStore shop. The Northern VA ReStore shops are run by the Habitat for Humanity.
For anyone attending Family Reunions this summer, enjoy the visit!
